The Bachelor of Science in Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management (BASTLSCM) at Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech) is taught in the heart of Puget Sound. Located just outside of Seattle in Kirkland, WA, LWTech offers classes that fit your life. Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management is all about the business of moving and storing goods around the country and around the world. The transportation industry is projected to add 417,000 jobs from in the next 15 years due to industry growth. with positions such as business analysts, transportation managers, warehouse/distribution center managers, logisticians, operations managers, supply chain planners, and procurement specialist to name the least. Entry level positions start in salary ranges of $40k to $60K in state and local governments, federal agencies and private companies in the Seattle area and beyond, such as, Boeing, FedEx, Costco, WalMart, Amazon, Alaska Airlines, and Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway.

Classes to Fit Your Life

Classes are offered on our Kirkland, WA campus. Classes are design for the working professional with most courses are offered as hybrids, with a single meeting per week. The BASTLSCM typically takes two years of full-time study to complete. Classes are taught by senior industry managers, many of who are military veterans, and the BASTLSCM compliments military experience.

Admissions Requirements

The BASTLSCM cohorts are selected on a competitive basis. Interested students will need to fill out an application for acceptance into the BASTLSCM program. Application deadlines and qualification requirements are unique to this program.

Bachelor of Applied Science in Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management


Completion of requirements for an Associate degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited institution in an appropriate transportation, business administration, management or operations-related program or its equivalent with an overall minimum 2.0 GPA in all coursework.
